This article covers how you claim a Payout as an Individual outside Sweden.

With this option you claim your Payout without raising an invoice, and without a self-billing Invoice being raised. You receive a payment statement instead.

Depending on the country you live in, Gigapay may report taxes. Withholding and paying tax in your country of residence remains your responsibility.

1. Review the Payout details

Check the gross amount and the breakdown of deductions, including income tax and payroll tax.

2. Choose how you want the money

Bank transfer

We send a regular bank transfer to your bank account via SWIFT, SEPA, or ACH, depending on where you are. Before you claim, check that your bank details are entered correctly on the Payout page, including the clearing number and the account number. Accurate details avoid delays. Once you claim the Payout, we transfer the net amount to your account. Depending on your bank, the transfer takes anywhere from seconds to a few banking days.

PayPal

PayPal is no longer available as a payout method for new accounts. If PayPal was already set up on your account before it was withdrawn, you can keep using it. Everyone else should add a bank account instead. If you are still using PayPal, check that your PayPal email address is correct before you claim. The amount that lands in PayPal may be lower than the amount you claimed, because PayPal applies its own charges.

3. Agree to the terms

Tick the boxes to confirm the legal terms and the fixed-term employment agreement.

4. Claim your Payout

Once you have reviewed everything, select Claim. We process your Payout and send it to the method you chose.

The money normally arrives anywhere from seconds to a couple of business days, depending on the method you chose, your bank, and your location.

Once you have claimed a Payout, the details attached to it can no longer be changed.
