Update Your Contact Information

How to update your email address, phone number, and newsletter preferences in Gigapay.

You can update your email address, phone number, and newsletter preferences anytime in the Gigapay app.


Important Information

Every Gigapay account requires a unique email address. You cannot use an email that is already linked to another Gigapay account.

Changing your email requires verification. After updating, you will receive a notification that your new email is not yet verified. Check your inbox for the verification link.


Step 1: Log in to Gigapay

Access your account at app.gigapay.com.


Step 2: Navigate to Your Contact Details

You can update contact information in two places:

  • From Settings: Click your profile icon in the top right corner (desktop) or bottom right (mobile), then go to Settings. Scroll to the Contact section.

  • From a Payout: When viewing a Payout, click Change next to Contact in the Personal Information section.


Step 3: Update Your Details

Click Change to open the contact editor. A side panel appears with the following fields:

Email Address (Required)

  • Enter your new email address.

  • The email must be unique across all Gigapay accounts.

  • After saving, you will see a modal warning that your email is not yet verified. Check your inbox for the verification email.

Phone Number (Optional)

  • Enter your phone number with the correct country code.

  • Use the country selector to choose the right prefix.

  • We will not send marketing messages to your phone number.

Newsletter Subscription (Optional)

  • Toggle the Gigapay updates switch to opt in or out of news about new features and improvements.


Step 4: Save Your Changes

Click Save to apply your updates. A confirmation message appears when your changes are saved successfully.


Common Issues

"Email already in use."

  • Another Gigapay account already uses this email address. Use a different email or contact support to resolve the conflict.

"I did not receive the verification email."

  • Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.

  • Wait a few minutes and try again.

  • If it still has not arrived, contact support.

"My phone number is not accepted."

  • Make sure you selected the correct country code.

  • Remove any spaces, dashes, or leading zeros that may not be needed.

  • The phone format is validated based on the selected country.
