Getting Started With Gigapay

Welcome to Gigapay. Here's how to set up your account and receive your first payment.

Eligibility requirements

Check you meet the minimum age requirement:

  • Sweden: 16 or older

  • All other countries: 18 or older


Step 1: Enter your invitation code

Find the unique code sent to your email.

  1. Open the Gigapay signup page and select the Signup tab

  2. Enter your invitation code

  3. Click Submit

Can't find your code? Check your spam or promotions folder. Still missing it? Contact support at support@gigapay.com.


Step 2: Verify your email address

Review the email address shown. You can change it if you prefer to use a different one (for example, if a manager or agent handles your communications).

Click Confirm to continue.

Swedish users can select "Continue with BankID" for faster verification.


Step 3: Confirm your country of residence

Select where you legally reside. This determines tax compliance and where we send your payments.

Make sure this matches your legal residency to avoid delays.

If you're an agency, manager, or representing a creative, check that box before continuing.


Step 4: Add your personal details

Enter your first and last name, date of birth, and personal identification number (found on your passport, national ID, driver's license, or tax documents).

We collect this information to meet legal requirements for identity verification and tax compliance.


Step 5: Enter your contact information

Add your contact details so we can keep you updated about payments and account activity.

  • Email address: Confirm where you'll receive updates

  • Phone number (optional): Add one if you want

  • Gigapay updates: Turn this on to hear about new features

We won't send marketing messages to your phone.


Step 6: Enter your address

Add your residential address to complete verification. Include your street address and number, city, and postal code.

PO boxes aren't accepted. Use a physical residential address.


Step 7: Select your entity type

Choose how you work:

  • Individual: You work as a private person

  • Sole Trader: You run your own registered sole trader business

  • Company: You work through a registered company

If you want to submit invoices for your payments, you need to be registered as a Sole Trader or Company.


Step 8: Complete your entity information

Provide additional details based on your entity type.

Individual:

  • Confirm your country of residence

  • Provide valid identification

Sole Trader:

  • Confirm where your business is registered

  • Provide your legal business name, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and business address

  • Your TIN must be valid for cross-border transactions

Company:

  • Confirm your country of registration

  • Provide your legal company name, Tax Identification Number (TIN), VAT number, and registered address

  • Your TIN and VAT number must be valid for cross-border transactions

Depending on your country, you may need to upload verification documents. Our compliance team will review your account within 3–5 business days. We'll contact you if we need more information.
