This guide walks you through claiming a Payout as an Individual on Gigapay. As an Individual, Gigapay handles tax and social contributions on your behalf.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have completed the following before claiming your first Payout:
Your profile information (name, date of birth, citizenship)
A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Your contact details (email address)
Your residential address
A payment method set up (bank account, Swish, or PayPal)
Step 1: Open Your Payout
When a Payout is available, you will receive an email notification with a link. Click the link, or navigate to your Dashboard and select the Payout from the Available tab.
Step 2: Review the Payout Summary
The summary shows a full breakdown of your Payout:
Gross amount: The total amount before deductions
Tax: Income tax deducted by Gigapay
Payroll contributions: Social security contributions
Pension: Pension contributions (if applicable)
Health insurance: Health insurance contributions (if applicable)
Fee: Gigapay's processing fee
Net amount: The amount you will receive
Currency: The Payout currency
If Early Pay is available, you will see an option to receive your Payout faster for an additional fee.
Step 3: Review Your Personal Information
The page displays your current personal information in several sections. Review each one carefully and click Change on any section that needs updating:
Profile: Your legal name, date of birth, and citizenship.
Contact: Your email address and phone number.
Address: Your residential address. PO boxes are not accepted.
Entity Type: Should show "Individual."
Payment Method: Your selected payment method and account details.
Step 4: Choose or Update Your Payment Method
As an Individual, the following payment methods are available:

Swish | Sweden only | Phone number (must match your BankID) |
IBAN Transfer | EU/SEPA region | IBAN, BIC, Account holder name |
PayPal | International | PayPal email address |
Bank Transfer (BBA) | Australia | Account number, BSB code, Account holder name |
Bank Transfer | USA / Canada | Account number, Routing/Transit number, Account type |
Click Change next to Payment Method to select or update your preferred method. Enter your details and click Save.
Regional restriction: If your Gigapay account is in the EU/SEPA region, you can only receive Payouts to bank accounts within the EU/SEPA region.
Step 5: Review the Terms
Before claiming, you must agree to:
Terms and conditions: Gigapay's standard terms of service.
Responsibility declaration: Confirming the Payout information is correct.
Swedish employment contract (Sweden only): If you are a Swedish resident working as an Individual.
Step 6: Claim the Payout
Once all your information is correct and terms are accepted, click Claim Payout.
You will be redirected to a confirmation page showing:
A success message
Your Payout reference details
The estimated payment date
Early Pay Option
If your Payout is eligible for Early Pay, you can opt in during the claiming process:
What it does: You receive your Payout faster (typically within 1 to 2 business days instead of the standard processing time).
Fee: An additional 4% Early Pay fee is deducted from your net amount.
How to opt in: Toggle the Early Pay checkbox before clicking Claim.
After Claiming
Processing: Your Payout moves to "Processing" status.
Transfer: Funds are transferred to your selected payment method.
Confirmation: You will receive an email when we send the funds.
Tracking: Check the status on your Dashboard under the Received tab.
Common Issues
"I cannot claim the Payout."
Make sure all personal information sections are complete (no red indicators).
Make sure you have a valid payment method selected.
Make sure you have accepted all required terms.
"My Payout shows a country mismatch warning."
This appears when your address country differs from the Client's country. Review your address and update if needed, or proceed if your address is correct.
"Where is my money?"
After claiming, Payouts typically take 1 to 5 business days depending on your payment method and bank.
IBAN transfers: 1 to 3 business days.
Swish: Usually instant.
PayPal: Typically within 1 business day.
