You can update your residential address anytime in the Gigapay app. We use your address for identity verification and tax compliance.
Important Information
PO boxes are not accepted. Due to financial regulations, we require a physical residential address (or physical business address for Companies).
Moving to a new country? Do not update your address manually. Instead, click "Contact Us to Change" in the app so we can help with the necessary compliance updates.
Step 1: Log in to Gigapay
Access your account at app.gigapay.com.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Address
You can update your address in two places:
From Settings: Click your profile icon in the top right corner (desktop) or bottom right (mobile), then go to Settings. Scroll to the Address section.
From a Payout: When viewing a Payout, click Change next to Address in the Personal Information section.
Step 3: Update Your Address
Click Change to open the address editor. Fill in the following fields:
Street Address (Required)
Enter your street name and number in the first line.
Use the address autocomplete feature: start typing and select your address from the suggestions for faster entry.
Use the second line for apartment number, suite, or floor (optional).
City (Required)
Enter your city name.
Postal Code (Required)
Enter your postal code / zip code.
Format varies by country (e.g., "12345" for Sweden, "10001" for USA, "SW1A 1AA" for UK).
State or Province (Required for Some Countries)
This field only appears for USA, Canada, and Australia.
Select your state or province from the dropdown.
For all other countries, this field is not shown.
Country
Your country is displayed as read-only based on your country of residence set during onboarding.
To change your country, click "Contact Us to Change" to reach Gigapay Support.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Review all fields and click Save.
A confirmation message appears when your address is updated successfully.
Country Mismatch Warning
If your address country differs from your onboarding country of residence, the system shows a warning. This can be normal in some cases (e.g., you live near a border). You can choose to proceed, but verify your address is correct to avoid compliance issues.
Common Issues
"My address is not found in autocomplete."
You can manually enter your address if autocomplete does not find it. Type in each field without selecting from suggestions.
"I see a country mismatch warning."
Your address country does not match the country you selected during onboarding. If your physical address is correct, you can proceed. If you have actually moved countries, contact support instead.
"I cannot change my country."
Country changes require compliance review. Click "Contact Us to Change" to start the process with Gigapay Support.
"PO Box is not accepted."
Enter a physical residential address. PO boxes, mailbox services, and virtual addresses are not accepted for regulatory reasons.
