Add multiple recipients at once by uploading an Excel file. This is useful when you need to invite a large number of creatives.
Step 1: Go to Recipients
Navigate to Recipients from the navigation bar.
Step 2: Select "Make multiple invitations with an Excel file"
Click the link Make multiple invitations with an Excel file below the single invite form. This takes you to the import page.
Step 3: Download the Template
Click Download the sample file to get the Excel template. The template includes the required columns with example data.
Step 4: Prepare Your File
Fill in the Excel template with your recipient data. The file must be in .xlsx format and under 5 MB.
Required columns:
Name (Namn): Full name of the recipient
Email: Email address for the invitation
Cellphone number (Mobilnummer): Phone number (required if no email)
Country (Land): 2-letter country code
⚠️ Important: Each recipient must have at least an email address or a phone number. Both can be provided.
Step 5: Upload Your File
Click the upload area or drag and drop your file.
Gigapay validates the file and shows a preview with three tables:
Raw data: Your uploaded data as-is.
Valid recipients: Rows that passed validation.
Invalid recipients: Rows with errors, showing which fields need correction.
Fix any errors in your file and re-upload if needed.
Step 6: Send Invitations
Click Send invitations to import the recipients and send invitation emails. You will be redirected to a success page confirming how many recipients were invited.
Common Issues
"Max file size error"
Your file exceeds 5 MB. Reduce the number of rows or split into multiple files.
"Duplicate email supplied"
The same email address appears more than once in your file. Remove the duplicate row.
"Duplicate cellphone_number supplied"
The same phone number appears more than once. Remove the duplicate row.
Some rows appear in the "Invalid" table
Check that all required fields (Name plus Email or Phone number) are filled in.
Ensure email addresses are correctly formatted.
Verify country codes are valid 2-letter codes.
